Each turn is made up of the Start Phase, Action Phase, and End Phase.
The Start Phase includes the Untap, Upkeep, and Draw Phases.
During the Untap Phase, the Player untaps all Mana and Units in play.
During the Upkeep Phase, a Counter is removed from each existing stack of Counters, resulting in the effect of that Counter being applied. Effects from Passive abilities also trigger during the Upkeep Phase.
During the Draw Phase, Draw a card from your Deck to your Hand and a Mana from your Mana Source to your Mana Pool.
The Action Phase includes the Placement, Movement, and Attack Phases.
During the Placement Phase, Place cards from your Hand into play. This includes placing Units on the Outpost row, building Structures, developing Landscapes, and attaching Equipment to Beings. You can also cast Enchantments or place Traps, as well as use Consumable items.
During the Movement Phase, Move units already in play. (Units cannot move the same turn they are played by default.)
During the Attack Phase, pay the Mana cost to cast abilities to attack enemy units within range.
Any additional final actions of the turn is applied during the End Phase.
