The playing field is made up of several Zones. Each side of the field includes Outpost, Auxillary, and Frontline Zones.
The Outpost is the row on the board closest to the Player where their Castle is placed.
The Auxillary is the row on the board in between the Outpost and the Frontline.
The Frontline is the row on the board closest to the opponent's side of the board.
The Mana Source is pile of cards that mana cards are drawn from. Each turn each Player draws a Mana from their Mana Source. However, on the second Player's first turn, they draw two Mana, but one of the Mana comes into play tapped.
Mana that is drawn is placed in the Mana Pool. Untapped Mana in the Mana Pool can be tapped to cover the Mana cost for actions that require Mana, such as the use of an Ability or the placement of a Unit.
Each turn, the Player draws a card from their deck and places it into their Hand.
When cards are Vanquished, they are sent to the Beyond.
